"20/20 Vision for the Future"

Keynote Speakers

Dr. Loretta Chen

Hailing from city-state Singapore, Loretta was the Creative Director of The Activation Group, a creative agency with offices around Asia. During her 20-year career, she helmed campaigns for clients such as Samsung, BNP Paribas’ inaugural all-star Women’s Tennis tournament featuring Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova; Louis Vuitton, Adidas and World Wide Fund amongst others. She directed numerous theatrical productions including Victor Victoria that was staged during President Obama’s APEC visit to Singapore and premiered The F Word (2011) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, garnering her an Amnesty Freedom of Expression Award for bringing the plight of sex-trafficked women to light.

Dr. Kevin Flemming

Producer of multiple viral animation videos including Success in the New Economy, and author of the bestseller, (Re)Defining the Goal, Dr. Fleming is a passionate advocate for ensuring all students enter the labor market with a competitive advantage. He has successfully founded four private-sector companies while leveraging over 20 years’ experience in higher education. A former Career & Technical Education Dean, vice president for the California Community College Association for Occupational Education, and a Business Administration faculty member, he currently leads the Strategic Development unit as Vice President of Norco College in Southern California.

A true life-long learner, and recovering academic elitist. Dr. Fleming has earned two Bachelor’s degrees, a Master of Arts, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Ph.D...but it was his industry certification in geographical information systems that lifted him out of working poverty.
